Accomodation
To the students living in the University dormitories:
Please be reminded that according to the Directive 19/2016 of May 18th 2016 regarding the Rules and Regulations of granting the right to live in the University dormitory, in order to reserve a place in the dormitory for the following year, the students living in a University dormitory and continuing studies at the Medical University of Lodz should submit an application to the dormitory management till May 31st.
The University provides housing on campus in three dormitories/residence halls. Here you will feel at home with helpful English speaking staff and your fellow students who will help you in the orientation process as well as with your Polish.
The majority of teaching departments are located in the dorm’s vicinity. Other university departments or clinics are accessible by public transport.
Please note:
Newly admitted students should contact Admission to book a room in the dormitory for the academic year 2023/24: admission@umed.lodz.pl.
Rooms can be booked only by those students who have received the Letter of Acceptance.
Those who prefer to live outside the campus will be provided with a list of private dormitories/flat renting agencies.
The Dormitory no. 1 “MEDYK” at street – Patrice Lumumby 5
The spacious, 4-storey buildingis located in the academic housing estate “Lumumbowo”.
The Dormitory no. 2 at street – Strajku Łódzkich Studentów 1981 r. 2
Is a 4-storey building, there are single and double bedrooms with a kitchen corner and a bathroom.
The Dormitory no. 4
The Dormitory no 4 is located in the Dean’s office vicinity at Hallera Campus.
The price-list for the academic year from October 1 to June 30:
- Hall of residence no. 1
- Double room 540 PLN/month
- Hall of Residence no.2
- Double room 690 PLN/month
- Hall of Residence no.4
- Double room 540 PLN/month (in an eight person unit)
- Double room 690 PLN/month (in a four person unit)
