Group Change – rules for students

Individual student’s group change on the student’s request can occur only in accordance with the following rules:

  1. General rules:
    1. Group transfer is only possible when the target group has fewer than 12 people (max. 11 people in the group).
  2. Rules for students of first year of 5 DMD, 6 MD program and third year of MD Advanced program:
    1. Group transfer for students of first year (5 DMD, 6 MD program) and third year of MD Advanced is only possible in the first week of study (first five working days) and only between groups of the same coordinator.
    2. Group transfer is only possible in case of special and justifiable circumstances. A written letter with listed arguments (directed to the Dean for Studies in English) should be submitted to the current coordinator.
    3. The coordinator will inform the student about the Dean’s final decision.
  3. Rules for students of higher years:
    1. Group transfer for students of higher years is also possible only in case of special and well-founded circumstances, with the Dean’s consent, only in July and August (the letter to the Dean for Studies in English has to be submitted by the end of July). Group transfer will start from the new academic year.
    2. Group transfer is only possible in case of special and justifiable circumstances. A written letter with listed arguments (directed to the Dean for Studies in English) should be submitted to the current coordinator.
    3. The coordinator will inform the student about the Dean’s final decision.
