Admission criteria
6-Year MD Program for High School/Secondary School Graduates
To qualify for our 6-Year MD program, candidates must possess a high school diploma or a secondary school leaving certificate equivalent to GCE A-level certificates*, IB diplomas, or EB diplomas. These qualifications should be sufficient for admission to a university or medical school in the candidate’s home country.
Academic Requirements:
- Subjects: Candidates must have an extended level of knowledge in at least two of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Mathematics. This knowledge should be documented by the school leaving certificates/diplomas mentioned above.
- Grades: Required grades should be above average.
- Verification: Knowledge will be verified during the MS Teams entrance exam.
English Language Proficiency:
- Certificates: Candidates must demonstrate written and spoken English competency through certificates such as CAE, CPE, TOEFL IBT (minimum 87 points), IELTS (minimum 6.5 points), or ISE III Level 2 or ISE IV Level 3 certificates in ESOL International, if secondary education was not conducted in English.
Entrance Exam Exemptions:
If you have documents such as IB, EB, or the Polish Matura, and your documents have been approved by the Admission Committee, you may be exempt from the science section of the exam.
Candidates who have passed the MCAT, GAMSAT, or UKCAT exams may be exempt from the knowledge-checking part of the entrance exam if they have achieved the following scores:
- MCAT (Medical College Admission Test): Minimum 512 points
- GAMSAT (Graduate Medical School Admission Test): Minimum 65 points
- UKCAT (UK Clinical Aptitude Test): Minimum 2570 points
*Note: 3 A-levels (2 science subjects + 1 optional)
