6-Year MD Program for High School/Secondary School Graduates

To qualify for our 6-Year MD program, candidates must possess a high school diploma or a secondary school leaving certificate equivalent to GCE A-level certificates*, IB diplomas, or EB diplomas. These qualifications should be sufficient for admission to a university or medical school in the candidate’s home country.

Academic Requirements:

  • Subjects: Candidates must have two science-related subjects listed on their school leaving certificates or diplomas, chosen from the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics.
  • Grades: Grades from the two selected subjects will be converted into points. The points will be summed up to create the candidate’s final score. First stage of the admission will depend on whether the candidate’s total score meets the threshold set by the Admission Committee for the given year.
  • Entrance exam: Candidates who meet the threshold are eligible for the second stage of the admission process, which is the online entrance examination.

English Language Proficiency:

English competency must be confirmed by the respective certificates (LIST OF ACCEPTED CERTIFICATES) if:

  • a candidate is not EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizen or
  • a candidate is EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizen but his secondary education was conducted in system other than: IB, EB, OECD, EFTA, China (gaozhong certificate) or Ukraine (свідоцтво про здобуття повної загальної середньої освіти).

Candidates who are EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizens and their secondary education was conducted in systems such as: IB, EB, OECD, EFTA, China (gaozhong certificate) or Ukraine (свідоцтво про здобуття повної загальної середньої освіти) DO NOT NEED to possess English language certificate.

Entrance Exam Exemptions: 

If you have documents such as IB, EB, or the Polish Matura, and your documents have been approved by the Admission Committee, you may be exempted from the science section of the exam.
