Admission criteria

5-YEAR DMD – for high school/secondary school graduates

• A high school diploma or a secondary school leaving certificate or equal as GCE A-level certificates* or IB and EB diplomas qualifying for admission to a university or a medical school in the home country.

• Extended level of knowledge in 2 of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics – documented by the above mentioned school leaving certificates/diplomas. The grades required should be above the average. The above knowledge is to be verified during the MS Teams entrance exam.

• English competency must be confirmed by the respective certificates (LIST OF ACCEPTED CERTIFICATES) if:
  • a candidate is not EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizen or
  • a candidate is EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizen but his secondary education was conducted in system other than: IB, EB, OECD, EFTA, China (gaozhong certificate) or Ukraine (свідоцтво про здобуття повної загальної середньої освіти).

Candidates who are EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizens and their secondary education was conducted in systems such as: IB, EB, OECD, EFTA, China (gaozhong certificate) or Ukraine (свідоцтво про здобуття повної загальної середньої освіти) DO NOT NEED to possess English language certificate.

If you have documents such as IB, EB, or the Polish Matura, and your documents have been approved by the Admission Committee, you may be exempt from the science section of the exam.

A 5DMD candidate who passed DAT exam and obtained minimum 20 points can be exempted from the knowledge-checking part of  the entrance exam.
