MUL among the top 5% of universities according to the international CWUR ranking

We are pleased to announce that the Medical University of Lodz was among the top 5% of universities according to the Global 2000 list announced by the Center for World University Rankings (2023 edition). The ranking includes 20,531 universities and research institutes from around the world and 40 from Poland.

Taking 12th place in Poland, we are one of the three highest ranked medical universities, right behing Warsaw and Wroclaw.

Since 2012, the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) has been publishing an academic ranking of world universities, which assesses the quality of education (number of university graduates awarded in international competitions), graduate employment (share of graduates in top management positions in the largest companies), scientific quality (number academic employees who have won academic awards) and the level of scientific research (quality of publications, citation rate, number of international patents). The ranking does not survey universities, it relies on data from independent sources and available databases.
