MUL: LEADER ON SHANGHAI LIST 2023!

Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2023, an international ranking of universities in 55 subjects across 5 fields of science, has been released.

The Medical University of Lodz was ranked as 1st in the group of Polish universities in Clinical Medicine, which means we have moved up when compared to the previous year. Moreover, we have risen from the ranking top 400 to top 300.

Shanghai Ranking Consultancy has been publishing GRAS since 2009 and the currently applied methodology has been used since 2017. The universities are ranked in 55 subjects across Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. This year’s ranking included over 1900 universities from 104 countries and regions.

Academic Ranking of World Universities presents world’s top universities annually based on a set of objective indicators and third-party data to compare the university results in particular subjects and sciences. ARWU adopts six objective indicators including primarily the research outcomes, its quality and impact, international collaboration and staff winning Nobel Prizes and Fields Medals.
