USMLE Step exam rules

In 2006 the Medical University of Lodz  obtained the accreditation of the National Board of Medical Examiners, a reputable American organization founded in 1915.  The accreditation, by allowing a wide access to commonly recognized  NBME exams,  is a real asset for students and our University and a way to implement  objective assessment methods of medical students’ knowledge.

The NBME offers standardized, objective, discipline-based exams for use in assessment throughout the medical school curriculum. The exams are designed to provide institutions with effective evaluation tools and useful examinee performance data that can be compared with a large representative group of examinees at the same stage of training.

UMSLE Step Exams

All students and graduates (of Polish and English programs) wanting to sit for the USMLE Step 1 must pass the CBS exam with a respective score.

The USMLE Step 2 exam you are allowed to take without the passed CBS.
